Plan the fusing method before the last bead is placed. Large connected projects are harder to move, heat evenly, flip, and cool flat. Prepare the heat-safe work surface, clean ironing paper, rigid supports, and a broad cooling weight before the iron turns on.

  • Keep the iron moving in overlapping passes and inspect rather than trusting one universal timer.
  • Give board seams and outer edges consistent heat without holding the iron still.
